Dear Guests and Airstream Enthusiasts,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce a reduction in our staffing levels due to the impact that shelter-in-place orders have had on businesses, including our own. The decision to layoff and terminate several Team Members weighs heavily on our hearts, as well as on the hearts of those impacted by this decision. We began the month by planning our 10-year anniversary in May and are now trying to find ways to help Team Members transition from full-time to unemployment. This time is a brutal reminder of just how fragile our world is. More importantly, it is a reminder of what’s truly important to us all: family, friends and our health.

Our Dealerships are still open and performing essential services for Guests in need of their Airstream for health and safety reasons.

We remain committed to being here for you today and for years to come. We are fulfilling that commitment by making daily decisions, and by reviewing all prior decisions as this dynamic health and economic crisis unfolds. We have identified the following goals, in order of priority, to help guide our decision making during these difficult times:

  1. Our Guests’ and Team Members’ health and safety
  2. Delivering on the Total Guest Experience
  3. Cash flow and business continuity
  4. Scalability both down and up to meet the rapidly changing business environment
  5. Profitability

Please understand that adjustments to our business are done with the intent to balance these goals in their order of priority. We may not always make the right decision in hindsight, but our intentions will always be guided by our goals.

A special note for our current Guests: We deeply appreciate all your support over the years. Although the near future looks to be rather turbulent, I look back at the amazing journey you all have made possible, and I look to the future with optimism that there will be Memories & Adventures to be had once we get through this together.

Impact on Services Notice

Per Governor Kate Brown’s Stay Home, Save Lives order it is mandated that we modify our operations until further notice from the government. We understand how impactful this is to you and your family and apologize for the inconvenience. However, with the intent of doing everything possible to protect you, our Team Members and our fellow citizens, we are following these directives.

Essential Services Offered During Stay Home Save Lives

Service & Parts

Service and Parts operations are limited to essential services that facilitate Stay Home, Save Lives shelter, travel and quarantine needs. This includes both warranty and customer pay services necessary for your Airstream to be functional for use. Appointments are required for drop-off and pick-up which can be arranged for by utilizing our “Contact Us” web page.


Our Adventure Advisors are working from home to answer your questions and facilitate purchases. When you are ready to view your Airstream at the dealership your Adventure Advisor will set a specific appointment time for meeting you there. All appropriate Social Distancing protocol will be followed to enhance safety and there will be limited Team Members and Guests on the lot. You can also enjoy from your home the convenience of video walk-throughs and other “e-Services” allowing you to purchase your new Airstream away from the dealership. Dear Airstream Guests and Community,

As we see the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) grow around the world, and here in the United States, we like many companies around the country want to share with you the preventive steps we are taking to keep you, our Team Members and Guests as safe as possible while helping you create Memories & Adventures

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected as well as those amazing individuals and groups who are supporting our communities affected by COVID-19.

We are taking the following precautions for you during this outbreak with an overabundance of caution for your safety and health.

Our Team is monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as federal, state and local authorities to ensure we are following the most current safety practices and guidelines. We are communicating this information to our entire Team to ensure they receive this important information and understand how to implement these best practices throughout the day.

All Team Members have been provided and directed to follow all CDC recommendations including:

Service and Parts:

  • All Team Members have been instructed not to shake hands with Guests or fellow Team Members.
  • All Guests will be provided the option of wearing disposable rubber gloves while visiting the dealership.
  • All Team Members are to maintain “Social Distancing” of 6-feet whenever practical.
  • All Team Members are to wipe down common touch surfaces daily and between Guest visits.
  • All Team Members working on Airstreams must wear disposable gloves and dispose of them after completing work on the unit or exiting it.
  • Free unit pick-up and drop-off for service repair work totaling over $500 (within 100 miles)


  • All Team Members have been instructed not to shake hands with Guests or fellow Team Members.
  • All Guests will be provided the option of wearing disposable rubber gloves while visiting the dealership to allow for safe and confident viewing of the Airstream inventory.
  • All Team Members are to maintain “Social Distancing” of 6-feet whenever practical. Adventure Advisors will not enter the coach with Guests in order to maintain adequate spacing throughout the Guest’s visit.
  • Guests have the option to request touring our inventory without the accompaniment of an Adventure Advisor and then subsequently can ask questions in a more open environment.
  • All Team Members are to wipe down common touch surfaces daily and between Guest visits. We have created these additional options to assist you during these unique times:
  • We’ll bring the Airstream to you – In-home viewing available within a limited distance from the dealership by appointment. Please contact your local Airstream Adventures dealership for details.
  • Video tours of Airstreams you are interested in are available upon request from your Adventure Advisor.
  • “e-Purchase” available. Select your Airstream and we will prepare all the paperwork, prep your Airstream for delivery, deliver to your location of choice (300-miles included and $1.75 per mile after that) and provide a complete walk-through orientation.

Our priority is the safety of our Guests and Team Members alike. We remain committed to providing a sales and service experience equal to the Airstream brand while realizing that we must remain flexible with our services and business practices for the benefit of everyone’s health and safety.
